Between the river and the St. Lawrence
Repentigny, in Lanaudière, stretches along the St. Lawrence River. Autoroute 40 and rue Notre-Dame (Route 138) connect it to Montreal. In 2002 it merged with Le Gardeur, on the other side of the L’Assomption River.
It has many bungalows and cottages, condo buildings near the water and apartment buildings along the main boulevards.
